Manikaran is located at a distance of 4 km from Kasol and is the most sacred place to Hindus and Sikhs of the region. It is situated along the banks of Parvati in the Kullu region. It is home to many temples and gurudwaras and that's the reason tourists visit the place all year round. The place is also famous for its hot springs.There are three hot springs in the place. One is in the vicinity of gurudwara. Most tourists visit the place to take a holy dip in the hot springs. It is believed that the water of hot springs has sulfur, which can cure diseases. There is also langar served at the place so you can well get the taste of it.Though there is no fixed time to visit Manikaran, the ideal time is between June to Oct.
